1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die

Lagi ga bisa tidur...jadinya ubek2 mbah gugel...eh, kok nemu ini pas lagi searching gambar buku Little Woman-nya Louisa May Alcott...
Judulnya bikin penasaran...hihi...kira-kira aq udah baca berapa buku ya dari 1001 list itu? :p

Ternyata baca sekilas cuma sedikit judul yang aq kenali, n you know what...buku Little Woman juga termasuk dalam list ini loh...hooooreeee...ga salah dong ya buku ini emang cakep banget...

Ada beberapa buku yang ku ketahui dan belum ku baca ada juga buku yang pengen aq baca lagi dan buku yang belum pernah ku dengar dan lihat...hehe...this is the list of the book that I want to read :)  :

Tahun 1900an

1.      Life of Pi – Yann Martel ---- belom sempat baca :(

2.      Memoirs of a Geisha – Arthur Golden  ---- ini juga buku bagus...

3.      Perfume – Patrick Süskind ---- Ini bagus sih bukunya...tapi bener2 bikin merinding bacanya...hihi...ternyata masuk dalam list...dulu baca dimana yaaa...dan ada filmnya juga, tapi ga berani nonton :p

4.      Interview With the Vampire – Anne Rice ---- taunya sih ini film yaaa...

5.      The Godfather – Mario Puzo ---- pernah lihat bukunya...(lupa sudah baca belom ya :D )

6.      To Kill a Mockingbird – Harper Lee ---- lupa-lupa ingat...baca atau nggak :)

7.      The Lord of the Rings – J.R.R. Tolkien  ---- jelasnya sudah baca dan nonton filmya...top

8.      Casino Royale – Ian Fleming ---- cuma pernah denger ada filmya...hahaha...

9.      The Old Man and the Sea – Ernest Hemingway ---- penasaran karena si pengarang

10.  The Pursuit of Love – Nancy Mitford ---- hmmm...ini tadinya kupikir buku yg juga difilmkan...tp kayaknya bukan deh...klo filmnya (baru inget saat nulis ini :p) judulnya The Pursuit of Happiness klo g salah... :D

11.  The Little Prince – Antoine de Saint-Exupéry ---- klo ini buku wajib punya...sukaaaa banget...bahkan buku ini ada dalam drama korea Love Rain...hihii

12.  The Hobbit – J.R.R. Tolkien ---- sudah baca dan nonton

13.  Gone With the Wind – Margaret Mitchell  ---- belom bacaaa...entah kenapa meski penasaran pengen baca, tapi tiap ke perpus selalu aja dilewati buku ini..hiikksss...

14.  Lady Chatterley’s Lover – D.H. Lawrence ---- idem dengan Gone With The Wind nasibnya :(

15.  The Murder of Roger Ackroyd – Agatha Christie ---- sudah baca :) 

16.  The Great Gatsby – F. Scott Fitzgerald ---- belom baca, tapi sudah punya bukunya, Alhamdulillah...pemberian dari seorang sahabat saat aq berkunjung kesana...disuruh milih2 buku, eh kok ya main comot ajah, dan termasuk dalam list ini...cuman belom sempet baca...hihi...

17.  Ulysses – James Joyce ---- want to read 

18.  Night and Day – Virginia Woolf  ---- tertarik dengan pengarangnya :p

19.  Kokoro – Natsume Soseki ---- tertarik karena buku jepang :p

20.  The Hound of the Baskervilles – Sir Arthur Conan Doyle ---- kayaknya dulu punya, entah kemana ini buku ya :(

1800an

1. The Awakening – Kate Chopin
2. Dracula – Bram Stoker
3. Diary of a Nobody – George & Weedon Grossmith
4. The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes – Sir Arthur Conan Doyle ---- sudah baca, tapi kurang tertarik dengan Sherlock Holmes...aq lebih suka gayanya Hercule Poirot...hihii... Je'taime Mr. Poirot :D (maaf yaaa untuk penggemar Sherlock )
5. The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde – Robert Louis Stevenson ---- 
6. The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn – Mark Twain ---- ini juga buku bagus banget...sukaaa
7. Bel-Ami – Guy de Maupassant
8. A Woman’s Life – Guy de Maupassant
9. Treasure Island – Robert Louis Stevenson
10.  Anna Karenina – Leo Tolstoy
11.  Around the World in Eighty Days – Jules Verne
12.  Little Women – Louisa May Alcott ---- nah kaaaannn ada buku ini..hihii...

21.    Wuthering Heights – Emily Brontë ---- pinjem buku ini dari perpus gegara abis baca Twilight dimana si Bella suka banget baca ini, jadi penasaran...tragis si emang tp masih ga ngerti dengan ceritanya :p
22.  Jane Eyre – Charlotte Brontë
23.  The Count of Monte-Cristo – Alexandre Dumas
24.  The Three Musketeers – Alexandre Dumas
25.  The Purloined Letter – Edgar Allan Poe
26.  A Christmas Carol – Charles Dickens
27.  Oliver Twist – Charles Dickens ---- baca ini waktu masih kecil duluuuu sekali...hihhi...
